Festeskinnene bygger 1,3cm og følgelig bør et eventuelt akustikkmateriale bygge ca. 1cm. Denne varianten av skinnen har innfestingen helt inn mot siden hvilket skjuler skinnen svært godt. Kan imidlertid ikke benyttes mot tak / gulv / hjørner da en ikke kommer til innfestingsslissen for stoff. I disse tilfellene benyttes heller skinnen som er tilpasset dette (frontmatet festeskinne).
