Blackmagic Design CONVNTRM/DA/QDSDI Overview Connect Quad-Link SDI sources to 12G-SDI equipment with the Blackmagic Design Teranex Mini Quad SDI to SDI 12G Converter . Housed in a low-profile sleek black enclosure, this Teranex Mini Converter fits in studio and post-production workflows without disrupting the decor. While the functionality of this unit may be obvious, connecting the unit via Ethernet enables you to use the included control software to complete control and make adjustments to fit your needs. As an additional option, a front panel controller with a built-in confidence monitor can be purchased separately. DIP switch controls are also available behind the front panel flap. Quad-Link and 12G-SDI protocols support high resolution video including DCI and UHD 4K as well as HD and SD signals. The Blackmagic Design MultiView 4 features four 10-bit 6G-SDI inputs that let you monitor SD, HD, or 4K sources in any combination on Ultra HD monitors or TVs. This lets you take advantage of high resolution displays to view each source with increased clarity. The MultiView 4 allows for 2x2 display with each input fully re-synchronized. One 6G-SDI output and one HDMI multi-view output are provided, as well as a loop output for each 6G-SDI input for passing the signals to additional devices. Housed in a 1 RU machined aluminum frame, the MultiView 4 is ready for use in the studio, broadcast truck, or even on location. It can be controlled with the included control software via the Ethernet port or by an optional Teranex front panel (not included). Blackmagic Design 's SmartView Duo comprises a pair of side-by-side 8" LCD monitors – both with an auto-selecting 3G/HD/SD-SDI input – that are housed in a 3 RU-high, rackmountable form factor.
